Christmas Eve is a week away. Wait, say what, now?! It can’t possibly be that close!
I still have a lot of work to do before Christmas, but I’m very excited ^^
I love Christmas. The lights, the weather, the mood, the sounds (With the exception of “Holly Jolly Christmas”. I hate that song =P), everything. As this year comes to a close, the new year waits just around the corner. I’ll be talking about the New Year right after Christmas, but I just wanted to say some things right now. What are you planning for 2013? Remember that we ofter overestimate what we can do in one year, and underestimate what we can in ten. Also remember not to give up by February 1st =P
But! Before discussion of 2013, back to the present ^^ Christmas being so close can often breed stress and panic in many people who are behind on their work (*cough*LikeMe*cough*), but it isn’t really worth all that. If you stress, things probably won’t really go your way. So if you find yourself stressing over the lack of time and the abundance of work to be finished, just sit back and relax for a moment. Take a few deep breaths, and calm yourself down.
Christmas isn’t supposed to be about panicking moments while you scramble to gather the rest of your presents together. If you do that, you can’t really enjoy it that well, can you? =p
What I’ve learned from Christmas present-gathering and crafting this year is to start a bit earlier next year.
But it will be done in time ^^ I just have to remember to breathe a little slower, and think a little clearer, and procrastinate a lot less.
Talk to you soon, and have a very Merry Christmas!
