Quote of the Week #7

The Quote of the week is:

For myself I am an optimist — it does not seem to be much use being anything else. ~ Winston Churchill

Over the past few days, I decided to try my best to look on the bright side of things; To look past the strife and struggles of my life and find the good things that are there. In doing so, I have discovered how truly time wasting being negative is.

While I’ve been slipping and falling behind occasionally, I can get back up quicker, and finish what I have to do quicker, simply because instead of looking at how hard it is, I’ve been looking at what will come at the end of it and working towards it.

I have found that through being optimistic, I’m more excited about pretty much everything. It really brings a refreshing breath of air to everything when you’re looking at the better side of it instead of the negative problems of it. It may take a while to fully grasp being optimistic and happy every day, but it is such a lovely change and a wonderful thing to try at doing.

While you can’t ignore the problems and not deal with them, they shouldn’t make you absolutely sour or bitter about what you’re doing. So every time you find something to be negative over in your day, think of two things that make you happy. It’s quite the challenge at first, especially if you’ve been negative for a very long time, but trust me, it will be worth it to wake up happy in the morning instead of already angry ^^

Talk to you soon,

-Roo! ^^
