A Novel Idea: Scribbly People (Logan, Cassandra, and Oatsie)

Greetings!

I love “A Novel Idea”. It’s so much fun 😀

“A Novel Idea” is hosted by Ashley @ Ashley Aspires. It comes out on Saturdays, and asks questions about characters and writing processes and snazzy things like that. If you like writing and talking to people about writing, be sure to check it out! 😀

I’m going to talk about Logan, Cassandra, and Oatsie (A magical horse. This might get interesting).

First up is Logan 😀 I talked about him a bit ago. I talk about him quite a bit, albeit somewhat vaguely sometimes =P He’s my favorite character of mine, my main character in my favorite book, and a really nice guy.

1. What is their favorite hobby?

Logan likes surfing. He also plays guitar and will occasionally sing, but he’s really shy about it, so not many people know.

2. Favorite color?

Blue, because it reminds him of the ocean 🙂 Neon things are nice too.

3. Favorite food?

Pizza, burgers, hot dogs…American food =P

4. DO they like to read? If not, why? If so, what is their favorite book?

He’d rather be doing something else other than reading, but he’ll read on occasion. He usually likes fantasy stories with happy endings 🙂

5. How do they usually spend their Saturday night?

Depends on if his friends are around or not. He loves hanging out with people, but if no one’s around, he’d probably either go to the beach (if it’s that time of year), or wander around the city. He’s not the wild party type or anything like that.

Next up is Cassandra (Who is waiting for a last name…I didn’t like her last one =P ). She’s in my Nanowrimo novel. She’s a bandit, a liar, and a bit arrogant. She’s very…out for herself.

1. What is their favorite hobby?

She likes carving designs in bark (That isn’t attached to the tree anymore =P ). She carries around a little leatherbound sketchbook, too, and draws in it when she has time, which isn’t often.

2. Favorite color?

Dark red.

3. Favorite food?

Mutton, turkey legs, and rich people food XD

4. DO they like to read? If not, why? If so, what is their favorite book?

Not really. She thinks it’s a bit of a waste of time.

5. How do they usually spend their Saturday night?

About the same as any other night, which is to say either stealing something, hiding somewhere to rest, or drinking.

__________________________________________________________

Last is Oatsie, the magical horse from my Nanowrimo novel. He’s young, snarky, and telepathic to only Joseph Eliot, the MC. He’s a bit impetuous and doesn’t care to listen to orders from Old Joe.

1. What is their favorite hobby?

He’s a horse, so I’m really not sure how to answer this. I suppose jumping would be the best answer. He likes to push logs and things around into an obstacle course and bounce around through it.

2. Favorite color?

White. He just thinks that it’s pretty and clean and all snazzy.

3. Favorite food?

Cream of wheat. He doesn’t get it very often, though.

4. DO they like to read? If not, why? If so, what is their favorite book?

No. He can, but you know…hooves and books don’t mix.

5. How do they usually spend their Saturday night?

Sleeping. Occasionally stargazing.

Thank you so much for reading! Make sure you go over to Ashley’s blog for other “A Novel Idea” posts and other cool things 😀

Talk to you soon,

-Roo!
